Photovoltaic (PV) systems generate electricity. The residential OUC customer installs the Solar PV system on his or her home, signs an agreement allowing OUC to retain the rights to the environmental benefits or attributes, and in exchange, OUC will provide a monthly production credit on the utility bill for the energy the systems produce. Additionally, for PV systems, any excess electricity that is generated back to OUC’s electric grid will be credited at the full applicable standard retail rate. Once approved and the equipment is installed, the loan at the customer’s option can be conveniently added to the utility bill.

Financing option through Orlando Federal Credit Union, maximum $20,000.
Solar Thermal systems generate heat for domestic water heating systems. The residential OUC customer installs the Thermal system on his or her home, signs an agreement allowing OUC to retain the rights to the environmental benefits or attributes, and in exchange, OUC will provide a monthly production credit on the utility bill for the energy the systems produce. Additionally, for PV systems, any excess electricity that is generated back to OUC’s electric grid will be credited at the full applicable standard retail rate.
