When you install a Solar PV system, Solar Thermal system or both on your business, OUC will provide a monthly production credit on your utility bill for the energy produced by the systems. You must sign an agreement allowing OUC to retain the rights to the environmental benefits or attributes. Current production incentives are $0.05/kWh for PV and $0.03/kWh for solar thermal. Any excess electricity generated by the PV systems and returned to OUC’s electric grid will be credited at the full applicable standard retail rate.
Efficiency Measures
Solar Thermal systems generate heat for water heating systems. OUC Commercial customers install the Thermal system their business, sign an agreement allowing OUC to retain the rights to the environmental benefits or attributes, and in exchange, OUC will provide a monthly production credit on the customer utility bill for the energy the systems produce.
Incentive:
A one-time credit of $250 toward the cost of the BTU meter installation, plus $0.03 credit per KWH produced
Solar Photovoltaic (PV) systems generate electricity for commercial customers. OUC Commercial customers install the Solar PV system on your business and sign an agreement allowing OUC to retain the rights to the environmental benefits or attributes.
