OUC Developing Solar Farm to Power 1,000 Homes
As part of a Purchase Power Agreement with a solar developer, OUC will develop a solar farm of up to 10 megawatts on 40-50 acres at the Stanton Energy Center or Jetport Orlando sites. Expected to be operational by late 2010, the project will generate enough electricity to provide power to about 1,000 homes.
